Role Overview
The Business Reporting Executive will be responsible for extracting, validating, analyzing, and presenting financial and operational data to support leadership decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across ERP, accounting, and CRM systems to ensure data accuracy and actionable reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI or similar tools to track inventory movement, sell-through rates, channel performance, and operational KPIs.
- Extract and reconcile financial data from QuickBooks, including revenue, expenses, margins, and cost allocations.
- Compile and analyze CRM data to monitor sales performance, customer acquisition, retention, and pipeline metrics.
- Prepare structured weekly and monthly performance reports for management review.
- Perform data validation and QA checks to ensure accuracy across ERP, accounting, and CRM systems.
- Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and reporting gaps, and escalate proactively.
- Participate in internal and client calls to present insights and explain reporting outputs.
- Maintain documentation of reporting processes and data definitions to ensure continuity and standardization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in business reporting, financial analysis, or MIS roles.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and CRM systems is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.
